In Milan, starts from Via Mecenate, then turn left in via Gaudenzio Fantoli to arrive (5.8 km) via Monluè and the homonym farm. Returning in via Mecenate, follow it south till Hungary avenue. Turn left into Via Lira and then right in via Bonfadini, continue through via Sordello, via Manzu and via Pizzolasso to reach via Rogoredo and the train station. From there you should continue in Via Sant'Arialdo, even by bike, to reach the abbey of Clairvaux (2.5 km).
Continuing south you'll reach San Donato Milanese town and then Sorigherio Poasco, where lays the fourth century church of Santa Maria Assunta. Besides Sesto Ulteriano and Cologno farm you'll arrive (8.3 km) at the Abbey of Viboldone, in the municipality of San Giuliano Milanese.
