Information on the processing of personal data
The information is provided pursuant to Articles. 13 ss. EU Regulation 2016/679 "on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data, as well as on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46 / EC (General Data Protection Regulation)" and Legislative Decree 101/18 to those who interact with the web services of the Metropolitan City of Milan, accessible through the address: www.cittametropolitana.mi.it corresponding to the Home Page of the Metropolitan City of Milan.
This page, in addition to describing how to manage the site, is intended to inform users who connect to the portal also regarding the processing of personal data and the related guarantees recognized by law.
This information is provided exclusively for the website of the Metropolitan City of Milan and not also for other websites that can be consulted by the user through link.
Purpose of the processing
Personal data will be processed in relation to the services offered by the Metropolitan City of Milan through its portal, exclusively for the purposes that fall within the institutional tasks of the Administration and of public interest or for the obligations required by law or regulation.
As part of these purposes, the processing also concerns the data relating to registrations / registrations to the portal necessary for the management of relations with the Metropolitan City of Milan, as well as to allow effective institutional communication and to fulfill any legal, regulatory or contractual obligations.

The processing of data related to the web services of the site takes place mainly at the Metropolitan City of Milan.

- the provision of data is optional, but necessary for the correct conduct of the preliminary investigation and procedural obligations or for the provision of the service;
- failure to provide some or all of the requested data may result in the interruption of the procedure or service;
- in relation to the procedure and related activities, the Metropolitan City of Milan may communicate the acquired data to other competent public or private bodies, in the cases provided for by law, Articles of Association, regulations;
- the data will be processed by the head of the organizational structure, by his collaborators in charge, subject to appropriate instructions, or by companies expressly appointed as data processors; these subjects ensure levels of experience, ability and reliability such as to guarantee compliance with the current provisions on processing, including data security;
- the data will be kept for a period not exceeding that provided for by the regulatory basis that legitimises the processing and in accordance with the rules on the conservation of administrative documentation; for this purpose, also through periodic checks, the strict relevance, non-excess and indispensability of the data processed are verified;
- the data processed is subject to the legislation on the right of access, with the methods and limits set out in the laws in force.
TType and nature of the data processed
Navigation data
Access to the site involves the recording of data used for the sole purpose of ensuring correct functioning.
The data collected includes the IP addresses and/or domain names of the computers used by users who connect to the site, the addresses in URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) notation of the resources requested, the time of the request, the method used in submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the operating system and the user's IT environment.
These data are not collected for the purpose of associating them with identified subjects. However, due to their nature, they could allow users to be identified through processing and association with data held by third parties especially when it is necessary to ascertain responsibility in case of hypothetical computer crimes against the site.
Data provided voluntarily by the user
The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of e-mails to the addresses indicated in the various access channels to the site and the compilation of the formats (masks) involve the subsequent acquisition of the sender's address, necessary to respond to requests, as well as any other personal data included in the message.
In this case, the acquired data will be processed exclusively to respond to user requests, for example, regarding the use of a service, problems connecting to the site, problems navigating the site, problems accessing site services or problems accessing your account.
In order to better contextualize the question, users can be contacted via email, telephone or other communication systems by an operator appointed by the Administration.
Specific summary information will be reported or displayed on the pages of the site set up for particular services on request.
Obligation or right to provide data
Apart from that specified for navigation data, the user is free to provide the personal data contained in the request forms or indicated in contacts with the Metropolitan City of Milan for sending communications or any documentation.
Failure to provide the data (e.g. personal data, e-mail address, telephone number) necessary to render the service may make it impossible to obtain what has been requested.
Data Recipients
The data relating to the online service are not intended for third parties or subject to communication or dissemination, unless provided by the law.
Data transfer abroad
The data is not transferred to third countries outside the European Economic Area.

RIGHTS OF THE INTERESTED PARTY
On the basis of the art. 15 and following of the EU Regulation, the interested parties (natural persons to whom the data refer) can exercise their rights at any time and in particular the right to access their personal data, to request its rectification or limitation, updating if incomplete or erroneous and cancellation if collected in violation of the law, as well as to oppose their treatment without prejudice to the existence of legitimate reasons on the part of the Data Controller.

PRIVACY INFORMATION FOR INSTITUTIONAL COMMUNICATIONS VIA E-MAIL
Pursuant to art. 13 of EU Regulation no. 2016/679 concerning the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data, as well as the free movement of such data, interested parties are informed that the processing of data provided directly via the web portal in order to use the services offered or in any case acquired at for this purpose, it is carried out by the Metropolitan City of Milan, in its capacity as Data Controller, and is aimed solely at carrying out the activities connected to the management of institutional communications which include the sending of messages via e-mail to the e-mail addresses provided when registering/subscribing to the portal.
The processing of personal data will therefore also be carried out with the aid of automated procedures in the ways and within the limits necessary to pursue the aforementioned purposes, guaranteeing the security and confidentiality of the data.
The personal data provided during registration/subscription to the portal (name, surname, residence, telephone numbers, e-mail address, etc.) are used by e-mail communication services. The provision of data is mandatory and any refusal precludes the possibility of using the services of the Metropolitan City of Milan. The aforementioned data can also be used to send institutional communications not strictly connected to the service relating to registration on the portal but compatible with the institutional purposes. In any case, the interested parties have the right to request cancellation from the communication services by e-mail at any time.
The treatments will be carried out by the natural persons designated in charge of the relevant procedure. The data collected is not communicated to third parties, without prejudice to the possibility that the data can be known by subjects who intervene in the activity management procedure, suitably identified and possibly designated as data processors.
