The project to increase bicycle use, improve the urban environment, and encourage sustainable mobility Metrex: The Metropolitan City of Milan presents the "Cambio" Biciplan

During the recent meeting organized by Metrex, an international non-profit association that facilitates the exchange of scientific information, expertise, and experience in spatial planning and development at the level of European regions and metropolitan areas, the Metropolitan City of Milan presented the new "Cambio" Biciplan, a strategic project to promote the use of bicycles as a sustainable means of transportation in the city. The initiative saw the participation of experts and local administrators from several European cities. The "Cambio" Biciplan proposes a series of interventions to develop a safe and connected cycling infrastructure system, reducing environmental pollution and improving the quality of urban life. The plan includes, among other things, the creation of dedicated bike lanes, bike-sharing stations, and incentive policies for residents.
