Yesterday, December 4th, the route of Line 8 of the "Cambio" Biciplan, a key project for sustainable mobility in the metropolitan area, was presented to the mayors of southeast Milan. This step marks an important step towards the creation of a cycling infrastructure that promotes the use of bicycles as a means of daily transportation. Marco Griguolo, Councilor for Mobility for the Metropolitan City of Milan, emphasized the importance of the initiative, stating: "Line 8 is not funded by the PNRR; we have taken steps to find funding. The mayors, with their requests, are supporting this gentle revolution." This commitment demonstrates the determination of local governments to support the shift toward more sustainable and accessible mobility. The Line 8 project is part of a broader plan to create a modern and interconnected cycling network, designed to improve the quality of life and safety of residents in the Milan metropolitan area.
